Fifty products.
One thesis.

Every overpriced, under-loved software incumbent is a thin layer of brand wrapped around a primitive that AI just made cheap. This is our hit list — 50 AI-native products built to out-build them, one at a time. Pick one from the selector and watch it ship.

Codon

Displaces Promethease / SelfDecode / 23andMe (bankrupt)

Upload your raw DNA file and chat with your genome — every trait, risk, and pharmacogenomic flag explained in plain English, 100% in your browser.

The AI reinvention

Promethease dumps a wall of 20,000 cryptic SNP rows with jargon; 23andMe just collapsed and spooked 15M people about where their genome lives. The 10x: parse the raw 23andMe/AncestryDNA file entirely client-side (William's proven Strand pattern), then let Claude act as a genetic-counselor-on-demand that you converse with — 'What does my APOE status mean for me specifically?', 'I'm about to be prescribed clopidogrel, does my CYP2C19 matter?', 'Explain my caffeine metabolism like I'm 12.' It cross-references the SNPs against open ClinVar/SNPedia data the model reasons over, and crucially the genome NEVER touches a server. Incumbents are either dead, sell static reports, or are SaaS that uploads your genome — a conversational counselor that runs over a file that never leaves the device is a category they structurally don't occupy.

Wedge

The wave of 23andMe users who just deleted their accounts post-bankruptcy but still have their raw-data download and want answers without re-trusting a company.

Pricing

$29 one-time per genome unlock, or $9/mo for ongoing 'ask your DNA' + new-research alerts
